I got to thinking about this while reading "Lincoln Unmasked" last night and DiLorenzo mentioned how Buckley would not and could not abide serious criticism of Lincoln.

If the loss of the 10th amendment does not rattle a persons mind then I don't think they can in any way be called a true American Conservative.

The division of powers principle that the Founders were so proud of was thus:
Legislature
Exec
Judiciary
States
We the people

The States was BIG on the list...
