Amazing that the Packers could do all of that with Nelson out.
He is a very good player, but with the size of rosters that there are today, it always amazes me that the announcers act like each team only has one person capable of playing a given position.
Times were much better when there were people like Earl Morrall, Gary Cuozzo, Zeke Bratkowski, Billy Kilmer, etc. who could step in and keep things going.
Of course back then, there were all sorts of candy-asses like Ray Nitschke, Gino Marchetti, Ernie Stautner, Doug Atkins, and Chuck Bednarik who played with sleeves.
