What are you trying to do Mike?
I`ve used lots of different powders in my various rifles with great success, with a mix of IMR and Hodgdon, no Vitivouri tho. Haven`t found the need.
Maybe you should look up "THLR.No" on youtube, long range shooting. He just switched from Vitivouri to Hodgdon powders.
I`m assuming you used a different lot of RL-17 when you tried the load 6 months later?
