I'm old, and tend to go "old school" I'm fond of blued steel and walnut furniture, although some excellent 22 Mags come with hardwood.

And I was lucky enough to find this old school beauty this winter on a local hunting board, a Marlin 25 MN bolt action in 22 Magnum and hardwood furniture. Serial number makes it 1998 vintage, gun didn't have a scratch or mark on it, nor were there any marks on the clip as to catridges being loaded into it. When I cleaned the barrel, brownish (Cosmolene?) came out of it, I don't think the gun was ever fired:
