Seems about right for any new gun. Always take it apart,thoroughly clean it,retighten etc.. I'm eying the synthetic stock so maybe the chipping of the wood will be alleviated. As for full power loads,yes very much so. Aint no sub loads in the Zimbabwe jesse. I would shoot it off a lead sled a few times to make sure its all honky dorry then put a box of Hornady solids thru it just to feel it out and tell my PH about it. I don't want to shoot it much as I am giving it as a gift. I shoot a Winchester Classic Super Express 375 H&H in a lefty(don't make it no more.) It's rather depressing the options for Lefty's in a true DGR. I got a 500NE but really want a 416 Rigby double square bridge Mauser magnum action in lefthand. Montana Rifle Co states that they will make them "soon". Its been at least 7 years or so hearing that b.s. Any way thank you for the info,you were very insightful. DaveO.
