Just my opinion, but every gun show I go to has plenty of pre-64 Model 1894's for sale. If it's actually in "like new condition" it may be worth that price, but there are plenty of them out there in very good condition for much less. If it's in "almost like new condition", you can do better. The "almost" makes a big difference.
