I built a 20 Practical, just necking down the 223. I am using the 32 V Max predominantly.
Not redlining it. Main charge used is 22.5 grains of 2015BR.
Waiting for the weather to dry out farmers fields.. this year has been a real mud pit for farm land.
a few years ago, someone sent me an AI'ed version of the 20/250 with a 24 grain NTX lead free bullet
as a dummy round. He made it up to shoot this combo with Blue Dot.
was quoting me something like 4700 to 4800 fps...
IIRC it was a forum member from over on AR ( Accurate Reloading)... from down in California.
When I shoot out the barrel on the Howa Mini Action I have in 223 ( I have a pair of them), the replacement
barrel is going to be 20 Practical. The other is going to be a 17 Remington.
