I went with an stainless 18" barrel in my AR and had a Mini MkX Mauser rebarrelled in 6.5 Grendel and both are absolutely tack drivers, especially the Mini Mk X. The first three shots out of it at 100 yds cut one ragged hole. The AR will shoot groups under an inch (100 yds of course). It seems like CFE 223 is made just for the 6.5 Grendel with IMR 8207 running a close second. I believe that is what most are using in theirs. Come on over the
