That's an interesting bullet. Seems like stability would be questionable in cold low altitude climates, but in TX I guess it would be OK most of the year. If you could get a 1:9" .270WSM, everything would be peachy.

As far as getting an immediate stop, I'll be curious what your results are with that bullet. I've always figured if I wanted no tracking in close quarters, that's what my .45-90 is for. Maximum PBR with a 400-405gr soft is about 200y, but after that it falls off the map. The farthest anything's gone when hit was about 10y.
