And there are those that would tell you to glass bed it. My 1947 model in 30-06 love Winchester 180 grain factory ammo. With a 6 power leupold Alaskan, it will shoot 3/4" all day. Always wanted to put a big scope on just once and see how small the groups really get.


BSA 1917 mentioned a front sight hood and I have a question. Is anyone familiar with the pre war model 70 sight hoods? They are not the same as the post war hoods. Does anybody have a close up pic of a pre war sight hood?
