Own four 257R rifles. Have tried a wide variety of powder in my 257 roberts, including Varget. But that was a number of years ago. Don't recall any special results for accuracy with the Varget in a .257. Did better in my .308. Do know that I stopped using Varget a number of years ago. Basic reason for that was I settled on using Ramshot's Hunter powder in my 257Rs and thought that Varget burned just too dirty and now use . RL 15 replaced any Varget needs I had.
