Thanks guys. I'm still chewing on this. The issue with the Kimber 8400 is its perch belly. I don't want it plus I want to lose some weight from the stock. I also talked to MPI and felt much better about them being able to 'fix' the perch belly and deliver a stock that meets my requirements. But its $900-$1000 to have them do it eek
