Yep agreed. 1-6 VX6 is a great optic, they got a lot right with these scopes. Mine has held up on my .375 H&H. I have the illuminated # 4 in mine.

The Fixed 3x Big Bore or 2.5x compact might be worth a look if you want a fixed power. I have a 2.5x on my Marlin Guide Gun and it's a great optic, loooong eye relief.
