just skip the super fragile bullets such as SPSXs etc...

they evaporate right after leaving the barrel...

contrary to slow powder, I find the fastest velocity and best accuracy
on mine with mid range burn powders...4064, 4895, Rl 15, AR Comp...

that was after testing the usual 4350, 4831, RL 19 etc...

I figured you'd eventually work your way around to 4064... grin

Just messing with ya... wink

My 8 twist .22-250 started out as a 6mm Rem Mohawk. The Shilen barrel gave it new life.

So, to answer the OP, about anything from 80 gr. down is Kosher, Seafire's warning about overly fragile bullets, spot on.

After you've gone "fast", it's hard to go back...

Here are a couple of loads:
80 gr. Amax
.43" group, 35 gr. H-4350
.40" group, 34 gr. 760

Did almost as well wtih 75 gr. Amax, seems to prefer 80 gr.

A fast twist .22-250 is a real handy round and a great second life for any shot out SA M-700, M-600, M-7, etc.

BTW, I do have a can of 4064... smile
