I use SPG with my 38-55 and 40-65 when pan lubing. I load with black powder for the most part. One thing that I have found helpful is to preheat the bullets before adding the lube. I stand the bullets on the bases in a pan and put it in the oven on warm. Then I start melting the lube in a double boiler. Preheating seems to help the lube stick to the bullets better.
