Calculator was rigth. 3/4ish high at 50, on at 75. Which will put around 1.5 low at 100. Haven't tested it yet. Nice thing is 38-45 grains POI was the same, at 50 yards. Maybe with hig speed rounds at such close ranges it would be too. But sight in with powder puff 1500 FPS, hunting around 1700. Which is over kill probably..
I load 45gr of RL7 behind those 350gr .458 Hornady FNs. They chrono at 1750fps out of my Marlin's 22" barrel. You should be down around 1600fps with your shorter barrel. That load is consistently very accurate for me! And just for fun, load up some 405gr cast RNFP in front of 12gr of Unique. They run just over 1000fps out of my gun, and you can shoot them all day!
