I'm running 47.0gr R-26 in std 243, stock adl 24" with the Hornady 105 bthp and Amax in Win brass with 210M. Both shoot just below 3100, with the Amax a hair faster and a hair more accurate. I'd be running 26 in an AI too, with the heavies.
I used the Amax load on my deer last year. It was a bit softer than I expected. Shots were just over 400, and it took 3 to put him down. Only 2 made it through the on-side ribs and neither made it through the offside ribs. Slightly quartering away, big-bodied muley.
