I’m running fairly mild loads in my new 243AI compared to many of the above.
Using 105 Hdy BTHPs I’m loading either 43g of H4350 or 47g of H4831SC, both for approx 2950fps in the 21”bbl. This is with WW brass.
With the 107 SMK which seems to generate a little less pressure, accuracy has been best at 48g of H4831SC. Also around 2950fps.
Looks like a bit more speed is possible especially with double based powders.
The fire forming loads I ended up running 46g of H4350 with the 90g soft points . Speed was around 3150fps.
All my loads as above use CCI 200 primers and are kissing the lands. Barrel is a 1-7” Hardy - a new brand to me. Shoots very nicely.
