My buddies lab I've chased birds with is hilarious. Great nose, super birdy and driven, ...........and he'll give you 200 yard shots at birds all day if you can't run as fast as he can. Lol.
Any stocked bird and some wilds simply get retrieved with out being shot. Its hilarious.
That last sentence made me laugh.

Joe used to do this. I'd shoot one, he'd come back with two — both in his mouth, one dead, one alive, sometimes both alive. He could be hell on limits...
