I have a 16 F250 lariat crew with the 10k gvw package. 4wd. With the 6.2 I've never wanted for more power. Hwy mpg with a tonnoau cover running 70-75 it will do between 15.5 and 17.5 mpg depending on fuel. Try to avoid the ethanol and it stsyys high 16 to high 17s. A mix of town and hey does around 14.2 - 14.6. All hand calculated and very close to what the lie o meter says on the dash. If I didn't pull anything I pry wouldn't have it. Guys I work with have 14-16 chevy 1/2 tons and get way better mpg and smoother ride. They talk of hey trips and getting in the low 20s. But it has been stone reliable and am very happy with it. If you tow it drops. We tow 10k camper and do about 8-9 if we run 91 or 93 premium fuel and set cruise on 67 or so. Overall you could do a lot worse
