Took the shorty out for a run the other day. 336Y with the 16 inch barrel. With my hand loaded 170 grain Sierras, it was still on target. Just over inch and a half at 100 yards. Clover leafs at 50 yards. This is a great little rifle for the swamps and creek bottoms I hunt here in North Florida. The .45 Colt Ruger has Hogue grips, and my 255 grain LSWC loads. Good back up if needed when hog hunting.

Dang the 336 is sexy!
I'm hunting with mine this year. My 10 year old has taken a liking to it.
I think I'm going buy him(me) one of those 336y.
