My 14 year drew antelope again. After a couple afternoon hunts she told me the other day it was time to stop looking at antelope and get one. We'd been watching a buck that she liked on our neighbors land. After a stalk that included crawling under the bottom wire of a barbed wire fence and then to the edge of the tall grass she got set up sitting with shooting sticks. I bet she had to wait 15 minutes until he presented a shot and the does and some deer were out of the way.

She shot, he took about 10 steps then stopped for about 5 seconds and tipped over.

She shoots a 22-250 Winchester feather weight with a 3x9 leupold. 64 grain nosler. She got him through the lungs and it exited. This is her third big game with that combo and we are liking it. Shot distance was 224 yards.
