Nice bear. Out of curiosity, what was the range to the bear, and which bullet were you using?

Range was maybe 80yds. 150gr Federal soft point factory rounds.
Did you hit where you were aiming at ? Hit her broadside did you ? Nice trophy...man those suckers are huge !!
I hit it exactly where I was aiming. She was quartering away. No exit and I never found a single piece of bullet. The brain was complete mush. The back half of the skull is mostly gone, but I didn't really want to track it into the timber
