I’m looking for some general info about Burns and the surrounding area. Info such as schools, taxes, cost of living etc. I may have an opportunity with work that would land me there. I have two young boys that haven’t started school yet but will. How about activities for my wife? She stays home with the boys but frequently meets with friends, bible study etc where we are now. I assume there are the same activities available there too.
Also noticed when cruising Zillow that some homes state they are out of the flood plain. How much of an issue is that and is it a deal breaker on some homes? Obviously homes are way less expensive there than in the valley. Basically looking for local knowledge and tips a westsider may not think of. I understand the weather to a certain extent but not totally.
