I've owned 2 savage Brush guns, 2 Factory Marlin 375s and 1 Marlin 30TK rebored from 30-30 to .375 win. All shot the factory load around 2" and 100yds which was well within the accuracy I needed for deer hunting. A dozen or so deer were killed VERY RIGHT NOW dead with the factory load. I think the .375 is the sweet spot in a lever action. Puts the smack on deer like the .35 remington, but with less recoil.
