Angus1895, you can't really use bullets designed for the H&H unless you want to use your levergun as a single shot. Besides, you cant get enough speed out of a 375 Win to get any meaningful expansion. The exception might be the 235 Speer but since Barnes still makes a 255gr FN designed for the 375 Win, I think that would be a better option.
I have used 250-300 gr pills in a 375 Win but they have been lead bullets that I've cast myself. The big 300 gr pills really penetrate well and can be pushed to around 1850 fps, perhaps more with some of the powders you have in the US.
