I'm sorry to hear that, it's a raw deal when a good member gets screwed over. And for him to start a thread about it, shows his lack of integrity and intelligence. I'd resell the gun as suggested, be clear about the problems and take the loss...you deserve a good bday present, not something that will remind you of this bs.
