Earlier today I made a thread about which rifle whether it was the carbon light the Ridgeline or the Field craft. After fondling all three of them today I have decided to go with the field craft. My longest shot will be five or 600 yards and realistically in the 200-300 yard range. This rifle will be used for everything from white tails and coyotes in the east to elk in the west and moose in Alaska. The questionnaires 308 or 30-06?
Not sure I understand the “... longest shot will be five or 600 yards and realistically in the 200-300 yard range.” Is that saying 500-600 yards is unrealistic for you to make? You did say you will be making a 500 or 600 yard shot.
Do you reload? 308 if don’t 30-06 MAYBE if you do.
