When the Model 70 gets the final ax, the naysayers will be sucking up those Portugal rifles like they were formally signed off on by JOC.
And years later someone like Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing will buy the name and rights-like they did with the Model 21-and make you one for $5000 or so. It won't be any better than the ones made in Portugal, but by damn it will be a Model 70 made right here. I doubt if few of the naysayers will be buying it either.
