Hard to believe W wont be doing a Creedmoor in the M70. With the US markets slowing down, one would think that they wanna stick to the tried and tested demand out there.. when last did a cartridge come along in the last 100 years that the mainstream manufacturers just could not ignore and absolutely jumped at? Surely its every Co. dream come true ... turnover for jam..

Would give my left ganoolie to be a fly on the wall at their marketing meetings discussing cartridge selections every year for the M70 ... just to understand their thinking around selection. Maybe they just wanna be different for differents sake? Dont wanna be seen doing what Remington and Ruger are doing? Maybe its and exclusivity thing ... "you should be grateful for what we select for you to use". Remington has no less than 5 different M700 variants in Creedmoor ... something for everyone in that lineup . From most of your comments I see a disappointment in W and I fear its going unnoticed by them...
