Shot RL16 in my 270 Win with 110gr Barnes TTSX BT 56.5gr got 3400fps. CCI200 primer win cases 3.260OAL
Same exact load of RL17 gave 3401fps. shot in Sako A7. Today.
RL-16 and RL-17 loads can run pretty close.
Based on that, I'm not sure which one is slower; you'd think RL-17, but it can't be by much.
