For reasons unknown, except for my late, lamented Kimber Longmaster, I've had much better luck with 165-ish bullets in my .308s. RL15 has been the best so far, but I'm going to try very hard to get CFE223 to work for logistical and practical reasons. My RL15 loads are very mild, but kill well.
Haven't given up on the 150s totally, because I've got 4 or 5 hundred Partitions on hand.
