I make my own sausage also. This year I went out of state for Christmas to see family. Took all of my gear with.
I made 40 lbs of breakfast sausage, and 35 lbs of Bratwurst. I gave it out to my siblings and youngest daughter.
They all loved it so much that I left the equipment there so that they could make a few batch's on their own.
AND... In addition, I made up 25 lbs of sauerkraut for them too. It should be ready the first weekend of Feb.
