Of course Bell and Corbett did not use a .270,it did not make it's debut until 1925. Otherwise they would have used it on elephants and tigers. grin And neither would have ever been heard from again.
That would have been ample time for both Bell and Corbett...both were actively shooting into the 1940s....
But they chose good taste and decorum over flagrant flamboyance..
