The only concern is if it's a manual transmission a clutch replacement will set you back $2500 due to the labor involved.
What have the genius auto engineers done to make it that expensive? I had a clutch put in my '08 Dodge diesel a couple years ago and it 'only' cost $1400. That included a high quality non-OEM clutch and flywheel.
