Exactly. I've always tried to push for a good deck paint for wet areas, mud rooms and bathrooms, even used it in bedrooms with a center area rug.

Even running paint over CDX after filling cracks and knots with Evercoat's Home Fix. A smooth and painted floor makes for a great surface, and maintance is cheap and easy. Obviously.
