There are plenty of shooting and reloading "truths" that my personal testing have shown to be less than absolute. I think we can all be guilty of having a good or bad experience and coming up with a blanket "truth" based on that.

Someone who is happy with keeping there shots on a pie plate at 10 paces with a pistol can make the blanket statement that lube is lube. The guy who is after 1" groups at 25 yds, or 50 yds or 100 yds with a handgun likely will find that such is not always the case. The best lube for a 38 special might not be the best lube for a 454 casull, and so forth and so on.

The more I shoot, the less likely I am to make absolute statements.
