Boddington has a series of 4 books that cover his 40 years of African Hunting. Each book covers 10 years. Together they really give a person a slice of hunting across Africa.

In chronological order They are:

Mount Kenya to the Cape.
Where Lions Roar.
Tracks Across Africa.
From the Cape to Kasserine.

If interested in elephant hunting, he has: Elephant!
If interested in buffalo hunting, he has: Buffalo!

I have met Craig, and he is a real gentleman.

Terry Weiland has an excellent book: Dangerous Game Rifles II.

Just about anything by Capstick is a good read.

I've downloaded from Amazon some books by Bell and Selous. Guys who went into the wilds of Africa to hunt ivory as much as 150 years ago. That Selous was one tough dude. I believe was killed in WWI fighting the Germans in Taganika. He was nearly 70 at the time.
