I took the grandson (Landon, age 11 3/4) to Alaska 17-23 July 2018. This was his first trip to the 49th state and he had a ball. Here are a few pictures from out trip. A big thank you to Steve (358 Norma_Fan), Mike (Ironbender) and the fine folks on the Cracker Jack Voyager.
Our first timer posing on the banks of the Kenai just below Jim's Landing
Landon's first Sockeye from just behind the Kenai River Lodge in Soldotna
Grandpa and grandson on the Cracker Jack Voyager out of Seward
Landon's first Halibut
He caught the only Ling Cod that day and it was a 39" keeper.
He also caught the only King Salmon on the boat that day. Here's a pic of his King and Ling with help from Gramps.

Landon the fish slayer! We both had the time of our lives and I watched a young boy become a young man during that trip. Good Times.
