LOL, I know of whom you speak.

However, I was stunned when I ran rounds in it for the first time yesterday and saw this enormous gap between the bolt body and RH rail. Not a design I approve of, and would gladly take an ounce or two extra of bolt diameter to have avoided it.

I'll spend the year with it and see what I think.

Definitely not designed by someone that spends the month of November backpacking the mountains of Montana in pursuit of elk... but at least the silly flutes will channel chit right down into the magazine well unobstructed grin

Just get a scope with a 34mm tube to cover the holes. Problem solved.
