For a hundred years, you could reload 45 ACP brass and never give primer pockets a second thought. Then some asswipe decides they can save a few bucks by using small primers instead of large ones. I hope his richard falls off the shower.
The 45ACP was actually introduced in 1905, so more like 113 years. 😀

They ended up with a slightly modified .45 cartridge with a longer case and heavier copper-nickel jacket bullet of 230 grains, named “Cal. .45 Automatic Pistol Ball Cartridge Model of 1906”
