If I spend $1,000 on a sport I love, have 5,000 ac. of public land 4 mi. down the road all to myself again yesterday , I figure $1,000 is actually cheap . You might also want to look at the Patriot from Woodsmans Arms if you dont mind spending almost a grand. Very light and they have a McGowen stainless barrel with nitride.

If you can wait a little longer CVA is releasing the new Paramount bolt action based on the B-14 action and the HMR stock. Actual selling price might be much less. B-14 actions are based on the Rem 700 so some parts may swap. A bunch do on the regular B-14s.

It will have this stock and a similar action. Supposed to have a Triggertech trigger too.
