Agree with jwp475, those things do shoot in spite of tool marks, sometimes pretty bad tool marks.
Now, they may foul worse, but who knows.
That's why I made the statement that it may be better NOT to look...
That's just the curse of having a Hawkeye. It's also a blessing.
My problem, a fairly decent shooting barrel that looks really bad thru the scope is more likely to get replaced than if I was just watching the target.
