Took delivery of a shotgun recently. The butt stock, I don't believe, was split due to shipping damage as I think the box would have reflected that. The box and even the styrofoam is unharmed. The crack/split is right up against the receiver & roughly an inch or so long. Do you think it will progress with use? Might, might not, hard to say?
The gun is a great & old Browning Citori 12 ga
