Your previous posts and this one ultimately make the #30 choice all the more curious. A guy needs to gut, skin, de-bone, flesh (skive) and cape big game, and do the B&T thing as a hunter. Filet is a different category, but can be done pretty well in most instances with the boning or B&T knife if spec'd right.The 30 doesn't fit any of those better then other choices. A 3 knife set of the right knives can do it all...

You might consider a new thread asking about double whammers and triple+ whammers that will do all of the above...
