I’m kicking around the idea of going on a cow bison hunt this year, and have a .375 H&H that I haven’t used in too long, so would take it if I do decide to go on this hunt. I worked up a load using 250-grain Sierra Game Kings that my CZ550 loves, but I also have a stash of factory 270-grain Remington Core Lokt’s. Which would you use for the hunt?
I feel like either one would work, shots would most likely be under 200 yards and both are more than accurate enough, and I feel like either would hold up even on a large cow bison. But, I’ve shot one whitetail doe with the Core Lokt ammo and 0 animals with the Sierra load, so would like some opinions from someone with more experience than me!
