Anybody else here have pleasurable experiences with those three bullets out of an old Savage slow twist barrel?

A few years ago, I picked up a Nosler loading book and turned to the 250-3000 Savage section. First and foremost they stated that Nosler doesn't make a projectile for the .257 short enough to shoot well in a Savage 99 with the 1-14 twist..... They were correct in this assertion. Some 99s may have anywhere from a 1-13 to a 1-15 twist, depending who set up the machines for that day. Mine happens to be bout 1-13.5, but the 100 grain spritzers usually (any brand) double my groups in size.
