FUnny Story, the owner of the store held it for me for a few days until I could get there. I was not overly thrilled with it because it had a black gummy film on it. I left it on the counter picked up another 300 mag rifle, it was a weatherby vanguard SS. I then went back to the counter with it to buy it, I asked to see the M70 again and rubbed the film on the PF with my thumb and it came off easily. It came home with me, took it apart and cleaned it(30 minutes tops) and then noticed the mysterious absence of a claw extractor.
but for what I paid for it no big deal. 1992 build.
