Those box labels have already lied to you once. There's no such thing as "ball ammo made to hunting specifications" in my opinion. Any ball ammo shouldn't be used for hunting. Nothing of any size anyway.

I think the part where is says "Made To Hunting Specifications" is there to allow it to be imported into the US.


If you look closely, the bullet is a 123gr Hollow Point, making it a "hunting" bullet. Of course a steel jacketed hollow point performs much like an FMJ.
