Where ever I can shoot 'em that's lethal. I have neck shots and heart shots. I'm a fan of neck shots if possible.. but heart shots work as well. I try to avoid hitting the shoulder bone.
I don't know why but elk with heart shot drops a lot faster than a deer.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.
